Beth Ann Meehan joined Cape Cod 5’s Nantucket Team in 2012, bringing with her fifteen years of local mortgage experience for which she has received numerous professional honors. During this time, she has gained a keen understanding of the unique home lending needs of customers on the Island.

Following receipt of a B.A. degree in Communications, Beth Ann went on to earn a Masters in Journalism at New York University. After a few years employed in New York City as a journalist, she became a year-round resident of Nantucket in 1994 and embarked on her career in mortgage lending at a local bank in 1996.

Community service is one of Beth Ann’s primary interests as she was a past board member of Sustainable Nantucket, Housing Nantucket, the Nantucket Shellfish Association, the Nantucket Boys & Girls Club, White Heron Theater and the Nantucket chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Presently, Beth Ann is a Commissioner of the Nantucket Housing Authority and is on the Advisory Board of the Community Foundation for Nantucket and Nantucket Cottage Hospital.
