Melanie has worked in the banking industry for over 20 years and has extensive knowledge and experience working with commercial customers on Nantucket. Prior to joining Cape Cod 5 in 2011, she worked as a commercial lending analyst for a local bank. Earlier in her career, Melanie worked in retail banking for a national bank, where she obtained her license to sell insurance and annuities. In her role as Regional Manager and Commercial Loan Officer at Cape Cod 5, Melanie leads the Bank’s team on Nantucket, managing a diverse loan portfolio and helping businesses with their financing needs. 

Melanie received her bachelor’s degree in Business Management, with a concentration in Finance, from Plymouth State University. She is also a graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College. 

Melanie is an active member of the Nantucket community and currently serves as Treasurer of The Harvey Foundation Board of Directors, and trustee of The Nantucket Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors. When not working or volunteering you can find Melanie on a field watching her two daughters play sports or exploring Nantucket beaches and conservation trails with her husband and two rescue dogs.
