Michael’s career in portfolio management began more than twenty-five years ago. Before joining Cape Cod 5 Trust and Asset Management, he was a senior vice president and chief investment officer in the Private Banking Division of a local financial institution, where he was responsible for over 250 million dollars in client assets. Michael continues to take an active role in managing client portfolios, including developing equity selection strategies.
He graduated from Bloomsburg College in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance. In 1990, he earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation, one of the highest achievements in the investment community. He is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
Although Michael spent his early years in Pennsylvania, he has been a resident of the Cape since 1983. He currently serves as a trustee of the Hyannis Public Library. He and his wife Ann have three adult daughters and live in Marstons Mills.
