Cape Cod 5 Strengthens Financial Planning & Investment Strategies Capabilities with Promotions within Trust & Asset Management Team


Hyannis, MA – Cape Cod 5 recently announced the promotions of three members of its Trust and Asset Management team.

•    Rachael Aiken was promoted to Director of Investments, where she will lead investment strategy and portfolio management, ensuring clients receive tailored investment solutions.
•    Jonathan Kelly was promoted to Senior Investment Officer, Financial Planning, expanding the Bank’s ability to deliver in-depth financial planning guidance.
•    Caden Buckley was promoted to Wealth Management Associate, Financial Planning, further enhancing support for clients seeking personalized financial strategies.

Rachael Aiken  brings more than two decades of wealth management experience to her role, including 10 years with Cape Cod 5. She has served as a member of investment committees, responsible for driving asset allocation and security selection and regularly appears as a financial spokesperson in the national media arena. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bucknell University and holds the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certification. An active member of the community, she has held many nonprofit roles, including serving as the treasurer for the Cape Cod Community College Educational Foundation.

Jonathan Kelly will continue to serve as an integral part of the investment team, responsible for portfolio construction and taking an active role in managing clients’ assets, ensuring their portfolios are optimized to meet their financial goals. He has more than twenty years of experience in investing, accounting and financial planning, including 10 years at Cape Cod 5. Jonathan co-founded and developed a successful wholesale business and worked as an accountant and financial advisor before joining Cape Cod 5 in 2014. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Colorado College and received Master’s degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from Northeastern University. He is credentialed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and CFP® and is on the board of the Wellfleet Conservation Trust. 

Caden Buckley will play an instrumental role in the Bank’s commitment to providing its clients with sound financial advice while serving as an important resource to members of the Trust and Asset Management team. Caden joined the Bank in 2021 in the role of Trust Administrative Associate and has provided support on Financial Planning since late 2024. He has a degree in Business and Economics from Salve Regina University, and also holds the CFP® designation.
