Cape Cod 5 Celebrates Grand Opening of New Banking Center in Plymouth on Commerce Way
Donates $30,000 to local nonprofits to commemorate the opening
Hyannis, MA - Cape Cod 5 celebrated the grand opening of its new hub location at 17 Commerce Way in Plymouth with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 4, 2024. This new location features a full-service Banking Center, conveniently located on the corner of Commerce Way and Plympton Road. It also includes drive-up banking and ATM service, as well as easy access to residential and consumer lending, business banking and commercial lending, and wealth management services. This is the second new location for the Bank in the area – it also recently relocated its Pinehills Banking Center into the new Rowen development in the Village Green.
“This new flagship location in Plymouth is part of our ongoing commitment to the expansion of service to individuals, families and businesses all across the South Shore,” said Matt Burke, CEO of Cape Cod 5. “Our team has been a financial partner for clients in Southeastern Massachusetts for many years and continues to build strong relationships in the area. This new location, coupled with our full-service digital offerings, will give us the opportunity to even more effectively serve new and existing clients in the region, however they choose to engage with us.”
The new 5,500 square foot facility also includes space to hold financial know-how events for clients and community members, a priority for the Bank. In 2023, Cape Cod 5 reached nearly 4,700 individuals through seminars and webinars focused on financial wellness.
Cape Cod 5 is deeply committed to helping build strong, healthy and resilient communities. As a celebration of the opening, they announced charitable donations totaling $30,000 through the Cape Cod 5 Foundation to the following local organizations: Boys & Girls Club of Plymouth, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Plymouth, Hope Floats, JPH Organization at Ferry Hill, Map Academy Charter School, Old Colony YMCA Plymouth, Plymouth Area Coalition for the Homeless, Plymouth Foundation, Plymouth Helping Hands for Animals, Shane Gives Thanks and South Shore Community Action Council.
