The Cape and Islands Veterans Outreach Center delivers service-enriched housing and all-inclusive supportive programs to Veterans to ensure a lasting reintegration into the families and communities for which they have sacrificed.
The Cape Cod Times Needy Fund's first mission was to provide Thanksgiving dinners to the neediest families on Cape Cod. Now, the Needy Fund provides the residents of Cape Cod and the Islands with financial assistance for a range of basic human needs when they fall on tough times.
The Community Health Center (CHC) focuses on providing the very best health care, as well as providing programs and education that help improve the overall health status of everyone living in our region. CHC is a non-profit organization that cares for all patients, regardless of ability to pay or insurance status.
Heroes In Transition is a not-for-profit organization that provides assistance to Veterans with special needs such as home modifications, transitional support group therapy, financial support for service families and assistance dogs.
The Massachusetts Military Support Foundation (MMSF) provides programs, services and goods that help satisfy critical needs and enhance the well-being and quality of life for Veterans, active-duty Military and their families in Massachusetts.
MV Community Services provides a broad range of services that support the overall health and well-being of the children, teens and families of the Island community. Programs reflect the diversity of the community – serving clients of all different backgrounds, ages, races and ethnicity. MV Community Services is committed to connecting clients with the services and care they need.
Since 1965, the South Shore Community Action Council, Inc. (SSCAC), a private not-for-profit organization, has provided a range of critical services to low-income individuals and families on the South Shore of Massachusetts, and has toiled to combat the root causes of poverty in those communities
Sustainable CAPE’s mission is to celebrate local food while teaching about the health of our bodies, community, and environment. They demonstrate the direct link between local food, sustainable health and wellness, and the importance of preserving the fragile land and water resources that directly enable our local harvest.
