Cape Cod 5 promotes new Senior Vice Presidents

Bank elevates leaders across its business lines to more effectively serve its clients and communities

Hyannis, MA – Cape Cod 5 recently announced the promotions of twelve new Senior Vice Presidents, with new members of its Senior Leadership Team representing all client-facing business lines and regions served. The promoted employees were: 

  • Jim Botsford, Manager, Senior Financial Advisor; 
  • Liam Cahill, Director of Residential Lending Operations; 
  • Alison Czuchra, Chief Fiduciary Officer; 
  • Kristen Foresta, Treasurer; 
  • Kim Geary, Director of Residential Sales & Production; 
  • Michael Kiceluk, Chief Investment Officer; 
  • Chris Langlais, Regional Manager and Commercial Loan Officer for the Upper Cape and Martha’s Vineyard; 
  • Kevin Mooney, Chief Technology Officer; 
  • Stephen Peck, Regional Manager and Commercial Loan Officer for Southeastern Massachusetts; 
  • Rob Reisner, Regional Manager and Commercial Loan Officer for Mid-Cape; 
  • Melanie Sabin, Regional Manager and Commercial Loan Officer for Nantucket; and 
  • Scott Vandersall, Regional Manager and Commercial Loan Officer for the Lower Cape.

Jim BotsfordJim Botsford has been a leader in business development for Cape Cod 5’s Wealth Management team for twenty years, and has over thirty years of experience in the financial services industry. He graduated from Salem State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Jim is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Cape Cod and president of the board of the Lower Cape Outreach Council.


Liam CahillLiam Cahill rejoined Cape Cod 5 in 2014 and has thirty years of experience in financial services, with the majority of his time in various roles in residential and consumer lending. He has been a key leader for the Bank’s RCL team, overseeing operations and several important technological advancements. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in public management from the University of Maine. Liam is on the board of Housing Assistance Corporation and is a strong advocate for accessible housing in our region.


Alison CzuchraAlison Czuchra has served as Chief Fiduciary Officer since 2017 and has been a member of Cape Cod 5’s Wealth Management team since 2011. She has over thirty-five years of experience in trust and asset management. Alison holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Trinity College and earned the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from the American Bankers Association’s National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. Alison is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Cape Cod.


Kristen ForestaKristen Foresta joined Cape Cod 5 as Director of Accounting in 2015 and was recently promoted to Treasurer. She has helped to lead key balance sheet strategies, including overseeing the investment portfolio, to support the Bank’s financial strength. Kristen has nearly fifteen years of experience in accounting and auditing and is a Certified Public Accountant. She earned her Master of Business Administration from the Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University and her Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Assumption College. Kristen is on the board of Independence House, Inc. in Hyannis.


Kim GearyKim Geary joined Cape Cod 5 in 2008 and has over thirty-five years of experience in residential lending. She leads the Bank’s mortgage sales team, supporting and enhancing the client homebuying experience. Kim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications with a minor in business management from Bridgewater State College.


Michael KicelukMichael Kiceluk has been Chief Investment Officer at Cape Cod 5 since the introduction of the Bank’s Trust and Asset Management department in 2004. His leadership has helped guide portfolio development and he continues to take an active role in managing client portfolios, including equity selection strategies. He graduated from Bloomsburg College in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and finance. In 1990, he earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation, one of the highest achievements in the investment community. He is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society. Michael also serves as treasurer on the board of the Hyannis Public Library.


Chris LanglaisChris Langlais has been with Cape Cod 5 for more than a decade, leading the commercial lending team on the Upper Cape and Martha’s Vineyard. He has over twenty years of experience in the business lending industry. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Boston College and a master’s degree in real estate development from the University of Southern California. He is a 2015 graduate of the Community Leadership Institute (CLI) of Cape Cod and was awarded the Cape & Plymouth Business 40 Under 40 award in 2016. Chris serves on the board of the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce, as a member of the loan committee for Coastal Community Capital, and as treasurer of the Falmouth Running Club.


Kevin MooneyKevin Mooney has been with Cape Cod 5 since 2015, leading the Bank’s information systems, technology support and application support areas, and has over twenty-five years of experience in information technology. He has helped to evolve the Bank’s IT infrastructure to support digital capabilities and was promoted to Chief Technology Officer in 2023. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Boston University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Babson College. He also earned the designation of Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA. Kevin is a past member and chair of the board of the Provincetown Year-Round Rate Rental Housing Trust and serves on the Cape Cod Tech high school advisory committee for IT.


Stephen PeckStephen Peck joined Cape Cod 5 in 2017 and leads the Bank’s commercial lending and plays an instrumental role in relationship development across Southeastern Massachusetts. He has over thirty years of banking and commercial lending experience. Stephen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the College of the Holy Cross. Stephen completed the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking program. Stephen serves on the boards of the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce, the South Eastern Economic Development Corporation and the Old Colony YMCA Plymouth Division. He is also a member of the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce, Cranberry Country Chamber of Commerce and the South Shore Chamber of Commerce.


Rob ReisnerRob Reisner has been with Cape Cod 5 for thirty-five years, and has served in many roles within commercial lending. He oversees all of the Bank’s commercial lending efforts across the Mid-Cape. Rob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from The University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. He is also a graduate of the Massachusetts Bankers New England School of Financial Studies. Rob is a past member of the board of the Hyannis Chamber of Commerce.


Melanie SabinMelanie Sabin has been with Cape Cod 5 since 2011 and leads the Bank’s commercial lending and relationship development efforts on Nantucket. She has over twenty years of banking experience. Mel earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in business management and finance from Plymouth State College and is a graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies. She currently serves as treasurer of the board of the Harvey Foundation and is a member of the board for the Nantucket Boys and Girls Club.


Scott VandersallScott Vandersall joined Cape Cod 5 in 2015 and oversees the Bank’s commercial lending activities on the Lower and Outer Cape and has played a key role in developing relationships with clients and community members in the region. Scott has over forty years of experience in banking. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics at Colby College, and a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in Financial Services from Boston University. Scott serves on the boards for Community Connections, Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, Cape Cod Blue Economy Foundation, Cape Cod Economic Development Council, and Bay Colony Development Corp.
